As usual, something interesting in politics and I’m completely into it. Following events in the news and twitter. One of the most interesting ones has got to be LaraABCNews reporting directly from the centre of the chaos Well, the night to yesterday I spent watching a live broadcast from New Orleans, good couple of hours. Last week I watched the NDC pretty much every night it was on. Earlier today one of my colleagues said that for a non-american guy I was really interested in what’s going on there. I answered “It’s [...] Well, just got home from a late research session at work. Haven’t been doing a lot of other things than just that. Except for buying yet antother batch of furniture at IKEA. Everytime I enter a furniture store I just want to leave again, which leads to not buying everything I need and ultimately more [...] Haven’t really had time do write anything here since I’ve had far far too much to do. But now things are slowly slowing down; finished with my task till the milestone at work, last session at Hartnackshule tomorrow, enough furniture at home to call it a home, and no visitors coming for a while Anyhow, [...] So, the day after Obama. Quite a nice speach he gave, although American speach writers need to learn how to write speaches for people outside the States. All these big words, these magnificent speaches just make me sceptical about the whole thing. I think people on this side of the Atlantic (well me at least) [...] |
